CARBON CYCLE CITY

A near future vision of a metropolis with a newfound relationship to carbon — which changed everything. Transformed into a carbon cycling city, the city strives for going beyond carbon neutral.

360° virtual reality artwork about the many aspects that make Carbon Cycle City possible. Explore the city as a carbon lab – from bio-based tech, to citizen-science initiatives, land restoration, and the historical responsibilities of carbon emissions that were caused by ancestors.

IMMERSIVE WORLD BUILDING

Animated short film about carbon emissions and a city's need to get it out of the air. In the process they gain a new perspective on carbon and start to redesign the city, while being mindful of the carbon cycle.

ENTANGLED FOREST: THE RINGS OF TIME

ENTANGLED FOREST

This series of multimedia artworks explores a mysterious journey through a forest in flux — from the ancient past to a regenerative future. Only by solving trials and reflecting on one's relationship with the forest can the future forest city be reached.

Inspired by urban tiny forests that create positive microclimates in cityscapes, Entangled Forest VR guides audiences on an explorative quest, showcasing the transformation from historical roots to a revitalized future.

IMMERSIVE WORLD BUILDING

An animated short film depicting a forest in transition and our shifting relationship with it. From revering the forest as sacred, to fearing it as dangerous, exploiting it as a resource, and ultimately discovering our newfound bond – the Trailer to the Future sets the stage for Entangled Forest VR.
